
Photographs are an important part of our legacy, particularly in today’s digital age. Photographs help to keep the memories of our youth, our best of times and the way we lived alive. Just as importantly, they also help to keep the memory of us alive, long after we’ve gone.
As a photographer, and my family’s primary recorder of life’s events, I’ve realised that I’ve spent too many years behind the camera. My advice: don’t wait until you get your teeth fixed, lose that weight or have your hair and makeup just right, make a conscious effort to get yourself in front of a camera – today. As much as it may make you may cringe, as it does me, the people who love you will appreciate it one day…
