Susan Humphries is a Melbourne-based portrait photographer, specialising in capturing the beauty and essence of each individual she photographs. Whether it be capturing the strength and character of an employee for a corporate headshot, the sass of a woman rediscovering herself or the dignity and resilience of old age, Susan loves to engage with people and to assist them to see themselves as she sees them through her lens.

Susan firmly believes in the legacy of a photograph. She believes that every person should have at least one good photograph made of him or her each year; a photograph that captures the person’s unique spirit and, together, shows the world the life they lived.

Susan’s aim is to capture that photograph; the one that tells the story of someone’s life to date; the one that shows who they are; the one that will be printed, framed and treasured by the generations that follow.
